We welcome you to start a Mature Advantages networking group in your area, if there isn’t already one in place. Each group must have a facilitator, who will be the coordinator and main contact point of the group. The success of a Mature Advantages group largely depends on a strong facilitator, so we have compiled a list of Facilitator Requirements:
Demonstrate leadership and communication skills, be liked by others and be dependable.
Demonstrate commitment by attending a majority of the Marketing Over Breakfast meetings in a specific area before they can become a facilitator.
Commit to the position for a minimum of two years. If you would like to opt out in one year, you must find a replacement facilitator for the group. This replacement candidate will be voted on by other area facilitators to ensure success and longevity of the group. You may also have a co-facilitator if you wish to have help. (This is good for training future facilitators)
Schedule Host Facilities, as well as Business Speakers or Marketing Topics needed for meetings.
Submit changes to this Web site in a timely manner. (A confidential password will be given to you by The Marketing Department.)
Supply sign-in sheets at each meeting and keep distribution lists up-to-date.
Send out e-mails to your distribution lists regarding meeting information, new, events, etc.
Support other Marketing Over Breakfast facilitators and meet at least twice a year to evaluate each group’s progress and discuss other pertinent topics.
Send out thank you cards when necessary.
Make clear that there are no mandatory meetings, referrals or fees in order to become a member of Marketing Over Breakfast or Mature Advantages.
Offer a discount to host facilities for 20% off Web advertising for their facility.
As a facilitator, you will receive free advertising on the Mature Advantages Web site, and will have access to any materials printed for the use of MOB marketing such as business cards and postcards. Also, you and your company will gain exposure throughout the community by taking on a leadership role among your peers.
